These timers are designed to
reduce your power consumption and also allow the root system
of your plants to take up oxygen when not covered in nutrient.
The timers are thermo coupled
and allow you to set the temperature and times that you want
your pumps to operate.
Normal setting for lettuce and
herbs - 27 degrees C your pump will turn on all the time. When
the temperature drops to 26 degrees C the pump will operate at
the times you have set. ie: 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off.
These temperatures and running
times can be set by you in 30 minute increments. ie: 15 minutes
on 15 minutes off or 10minutes on 20 minutes off, or 5 minutes
on 25 minutes off.
